This journal is bound to gain some heat, but I simply wish to discuss what is freedom to marry at this century in a logical discussion. Everyone is suppose to have equal rights to be married, but what classifies everyone, gays and straight people only? Now, lets look at all the other kind of lovers in the world; the pedophiles (adults who like children), polygamists (multiple lovers) or any other unique group, all of which I do not approve of myself. Now, If gays/straight people can love each other, why can't these other groups. I mean it might be sick to think of, but don't they deserve the same rights as the other groups. That is how I see it, if everyone should be able to get married, so should these special people right. But, it seems as if this stuff would never be respected, because it is 'sick, immoral, wrong and will ruin civil society' and 'should not be allowed.' (remind you of the gay right movement anyone?) If one group should be given right, and it be pleased under equal protection for all, it should be written for everyone and not that one special group or it is a sham. I say this because ever since the popularity of the gay rights movement It seems like this is for everyone, but we all know that the next group who asks for freedom to marry will be treated the same, except this time some gays may be against them as well. If you are going to promote equal rights, promote them because you want to, not to get your special group what they want.

To those who dare to assume what group I fall into, what does it matter for I am simply offering to start a debate. Please keep it nice and clean. Before you make comments about how wrong some of these are, I mean marriage if both/multiple partners agree.
